Hi Folks,
Here is the first posting of our new Blog. It really was simple to set up. Thank you for joining me on this new adventure. I plan to post the first article review within the next couple of days. I will be jotting down some notes from the first article in our book for Michael. The way I envision this Blog is a lot like the threaded discussion we just had with Mads. I plan to jot down some ideas, thoughts and important "info" from the first article in our book. I would welcome any comments or additional highlights from the article that others feel is important and I did not put on my notes. My notes will be the starting point, only because I set up the Blog, not because I have the "wisdom".
I am really excited to try this new "adventure" with my Simmons buddies. Please join me with this new experiment and add or write any ideas that you think may benefit all of us. Time to share and "chat" like digital natives-ha.

Hi Deb,
I am willing to try my hand at this blogging stuff. I have read the first article twice but haven't done the summary. I am still trying to finish my final project and deal with the contract issue. As soon as I finish my project, I will look over article one again and add my comments to the blog.

Nice job Deb. Do you want to share in the article writing? One would post the original and then we could add comments? Or do you just want to do it yourself??
Thanks Kathy and Debbie. I am happy to share article writing with anyone who wants to. I plan to finish up article two tonight. We can share and post away. Sounds like a good way to share ideas.
I don't think everyone has been told about the blog yet. I plan to write Janet tomorrow. I am in Maine and do not have everyones e-mail addresses. If you know someone from class that didn't get my mailing, please feel free to share this blog. It is for everyone in our cohort.

I would be willing to also try my hand at blogging. What a wonderful idea and a way for all of us to stay in touch since we are so spread out. As Karen said, "a collaborative way to work on projects without going to each others house"

Thanks for joining us. Our numbers are growing and it is rather exciting. Glad to hear work is going well and keeping you busy (like you really need another thing to do ha ha).
We welcome any entries you are willing to share. If you are interested in completing a particular chapter, let us know so that we can make note of it. So far, the chapters have been divided between Debbie B. and myself. I completed the first two and Deb the third and fourth chapters.
Having never done anything like this before, there is no set "right way" to do things. Whatever is most comfortable for the participant seems like the best route.
Please let me know what is most comfortable for you and I will make a note of it. This is really a blog for the cohort and not my blog. At least that was my intent. I love chatting with everyone and this is a great way for me to do so as I live so far away from the masses. As you have me beat for distance, it will be a great way for you to chat too.
